A brand perceptions research project involved an online survey (10 per cent response rate), 20 one on one client interviews and an analysis report to help cost estimators and project managers, Turner& Townsend, understand existing market perceptions. The client’s CEO described it as “the best piece of research undertaken in the Australian business.”


Veolia Water


Winning an $800m QGC water treatment bid
Get the Message worked with the bid team to research and write the following components of the winning bid – the Indigenous Participation Plan and the community engagement strategy.

Creating a new employee communication channel
We worked with the communication team to create a new employee publication for employees across three water businesses. This involved producing a new design, sourcing content and delivering the publication quarterly.


Harbour City Ferries


Improving employee communications
We work with Harbour City Ferries to provide employee communications including writing and producing a monthly staff magazine, running competitions and providing counsel on organisational issues.




Organising annual major events in NSW & QLD
Get the Message has organised and managed the annual NSW WaterAid Ball since 2011 raising $900,000 for this not for profit. The event includes 500+ guests, theming, entertainment, fundraising and lots of fun! Get the Message is currently organising the first Queensland WaterAid Ball in 2015.


Transfield Services


Winning $100 million in tenders
Transfield Services engaged Get the Message to work with the bid team on two major engineering D&C tenders in the mining and resources sector. Get the Message researched and wrote components of the tender such as indigenous and community engagement, as well as proofing/rewriting other sections including quality, environment and safety. Get the Message also co-ordinated the design and print of the tenders in Perth. Both tenders were won at a value of $100 million to the business.



Business to business communication
This global conservation organisation was seeking to improve its engagement with Australian businesses and challenge them to deliver everyday food items more sustainably. Get the Message worked with WWF’s Market Transformation team to create and deliver a suite of communication tools including case studies, social media infographics, reports and presentations for this team to deliver a consistent message with external stakeholders.

Elevator pitch workshop and media training
Get the Message recently worked with this team of Australian independent advisors who solve urban issues by delivering a series of elevator pitch workshops. This helped them to more succinctly articulate what their organisation does in the same time as an elevator ride.

This was followed up with media training for their senior leaders to teach them how to get the most out of media opportunities for their business.
